On a relatively flat piece of land overlooking the south coast of Madeira island, we are planning the construction of this house full of light and air. This particular area of Madeira often has a strong wind, which gave us the idea to introduce a serie of patios, allowing the owners to enjoy a piece of their garden under any circumstances. A continuous planter is placed along the border of the roof, to have hanging plants giving more shade and privacy where needed, and continue the garden into the volume of the house even more. Construction is planned to begin in 2018.
