Flower installation inaugurated
Last week the flower installation we designed for the garden of the municipality building in Calheta was inaugurated. The installation makes part of the Madeira Flower Festival and will stay for 2 weeks. New project: Piscina BCA
Last week we started the construction of a new project: Piscina BCA. This pool will be situated on a site in Calheta with lots of differences in height. We managed to keep the construction relatively simple, without digging in the rocky terrain to much and integrating the pool nicely in the characteristic landscape at the same time.
Study for a Cabin
This tiny cottage is a low budget holiday house made of cross laminated timber. The 30m2 constrution is partially pre fabricated in order to reduce time and construction waste. The form of the house is a reference to the tradicional little sheds in the countryside of Madeira.
Pool and wintergarden are finished
The colours of the surrounding earth were the inspiration for this project in Madeira Island. The construction is just finished. With the help of solar pannels the water temperature ranges between 24 and 27 degrees but the most amazing of all are the views.
Pool is taking shape
Now that spring is upon us, it’s a good thing the pool is taking shape! We are waiting patiently to fill it with water…
Starting a new construction
This morning we started with marking the layout of a swimmingpool and wintergarden to be built on this piece of land in rural Madeira. It will be constructed with brown/red-coloured concrete, to blend in with its surroundings. We’re looking forward to the building process!
